Get ready, Sorcerers! The Cornerstones have been laid, and Sorcery: Contested Realm Organized Play 2025 is about to launch!
Cornerstone events are store-run celebrations of Sorcery, the foundational pieces of our 2025 Organized Play initiative. Each event features a Store Championship, giving players the chance to test their skills, showcase their creativity, and walk away with exclusive rewards found only in our Cornerstone Kits.
But there’s more to Cornerstone events than the clash of spells and steel.
These community gatherings are perfect for trading cards, connecting with fellow Sorcerers, and celebrating your local Sorcery community!
Organized through the Sorcery Play Network, Cornerstone events are designed to empower local communities, reward participation, and crown champions.

Rewards of the Realm
Each Cornerstone Kit comes packed with prizing designed to recognize effort, reward excellence, and honor those who help their communities thrive.
All participants will receive an alternate art Dispel promo card, beautifully illustrated by Margaret Organ-Kean. Two lucky players will also walk away with exclusive Dispel playmats, awarded at random during the event.
Top finishers will earn a foil version of Dispel, commemorating their achievement with a special Cornerstone watermark. The event champion will take home a Cornerstone Champion Playmat and a sealed Dragonlord mini-set to mark their victory.
Community Champions, players who foster a welcoming, supportive play environment, will be recognized with an alternative art Swap promo card, offering an early glimpse at Sorcery’s upcoming Gothic set.
Judges will receive a special foil alternative art Day of Judgement promo, also from the Gothic set, in appreciation of their role in helping facilitate the event!
A Cornerstone in all Regions
While Cornerstone events will be happening around the world from August through December 2025, we’re excited to kick things off with five incredible stores from across our three regions of play, the Americas, Asia/Pacific, and Europe. Each of these stores showcases the spirit of what Cornerstone events are all about in its own unique way.
Check out their events, hear from the organizers, and find out how you can be a part of the festivities.
