The long night is nearly here. Gothic descends upon the realm on December 5, and we can’t wait to step into the shadows with you. Here’s everything you need to know for launch, and a little something to set the tone.

Harbinger vs. Persecutor - First Gameplay

To open the final chapter before release, we’re ushering in a clash straight from the pages of prophecy. Harbinger vs. Persecutor is your first full look at the match-up between these two Avatars from the Prophets of Doom Gothic Preconstructed Decks.

If you missed our earlier Necromancer vs. Savior showdown, be sure to revisit it as well. Taken together, these battles offer a glimpse of the storms gathering on the horizon for those looking to dive into Sorcery with Gothic preconstructed decks.

Team Covenant Launch Stream

While the sun may rise on December 5, the realm is descending into darkness. Erik’s Curiosa is joining forces with Team Covenant for a twelve-hour Gothic livestream, filled with gameplay, pack openings, and enough table-side mayhem to carry us into the night.

Throughout the day, members of the Erik’s Curiosa team will join Zach, Steven, and Jonathon to explore the set live on stream. Whether you’re tuning in from your LGS, following along during the workday, or cracking open your first packs while hanging out in chat, we invite you to celebrate Sorcery’s darkest set with good company on the Team Covenant YouTube Channel.

Global Community Events

Gothic thrives on atmosphere, flickering lanterns, distant bells, and that feeling only grows when experienced together. Around the world, stores and home playgroups are preparing release gatherings, sealed events, and kitchen table battles. However you choose to celebrate, we’d love to see it. Share your moments with us on social media, tag @SorceryTCG, and use #sorcerytcg and #gothic so we can collect your stories from across the realm and spotlight events throughout the world.

Curiosa Website Update

At noon (12:00 pm ET) on December 5, Curiosa.io, Sorcery’s official deck builder, awakens with the complete Gothic card set. The update includes the full library of new cards, revised rules, and updated FAQ to help you navigate Gothic’s mechanics, themes, and peculiar interactions.

Tabletop Simulator: Official Sorcery Mod

On December 5, the official Tabletop Simulator mod updates at noon (12:00 pm ET). From day one, players can build decks and join community matches. Wherever you are, Gothic will be within reach.

Content Creators

To the creators who bring the excitement of Sorcery to screens around the world: we can’t wait to see what you conjure up!

From box breaks, first impressions, gameplay sessions, deck-building deep dives, and artist interviews, thank you for helping illuminate the path forward for players stepping into Gothic and for sharing your enthusiasm for all things Sorcery. If you haven’t already, make sure you have the Content Creator role in the Official Sorcery Discord. This gives you access to updated logos and the most current information to support your work during release week.

Thank You

To everyone supporting Sorcery, our artists, players, stores, creators, and the broader community: thank you. Gothic is one of the most ambitious sets we’ve ever created, and this launch wouldn’t be possible without your passion and dedication. We’re thrilled to step into the shadows with you.

The dead stir. The realm shifts.

Your story begins December 5.
