Erik’s Curiosa Studio Update

With the November 13 release of Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer approaching, we’d like to share a few updates from the studio. We've had a number of questions about regional release dates, non-foil Courts, and binder availability in the Dust Store. Here’s where things stand.

Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer: Regional Release Update

Shipping delays will push back the release of Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer in some regions. We know this is a real setback for retailers, for players who preordered, and for anyone planning a launch event. We apologize for the disruption and we’re doing everything we can to get it into your hands as quickly as possible.

Europe and the United Kingdom

Unfortunately, Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer will not reach European distributors in time for its scheduled November 13 release.

We’re now targeting December 9 for availability at European retailers, including those in the United Kingdom. This date is based on our latest shipping information and may change as shipments progress.

Australia

Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer will also arrive behind schedule to our Australian distributor, AIE. The delay occurred before the product reached AIE and is not related to their operations.

We’re now targeting November 20 for availability at Australian retailers. As with Europe, this date is based on our latest shipping information and may change as shipments progress.

New Zealand is not affected and remains on track for November 13.

Canada

Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer will also arrive later than planned in Canada.

We’re now targeting November 20 for availability at Canadian retailers. As with Europe and Australia, this date is based on our latest shipping information and may change as shipments progress.

The United States is not affected and remains on track for November 13.

Regional Availability

Here’s where things currently stand:

• USA: On track for November 13.
• Canada: Retail availability estimated for November 20.
• Europe and the United Kingdom: Retail availability estimated for December 9.
• Asia: On track for November 13.
• LATAM/Brazil: Release date to be confirmed.
• Australia: Retail availability estimated for November 20.
• New Zealand: On track for November 13.

We’ll share any changes to these dates as we receive updated shipping information.

Dust Store Availability

Non-Foil Courts

During our warehouse transition, some inventory was lost, leaving us with fewer non-foil Courts than anticipated.

We're arranging additional stock, but expect availability to remain limited through the end of the year. Our goal remains to keep non-foil Courts widely available, and we're working to get stock levels back to normal.

Gothic and Beta Binders

We’ve also experienced inventory shortfalls with Gothic and Beta binders, and additional production runs will be needed to restock them.

We’ve recently moved to a new manufacturing partner, which has complicated the process. We don’t have a reliable restock date yet, and don’t want to offer an estimate we can’t stand behind.

Our new manufacturing partner has already begun producing binders, alongside those for Baldassare’s Travels.

The Future of Dust

We’ve previously shared our intention to make Dust Rewards more accessible to Sorcerers in Europe and the UK, and we finally have some progress to report.

We’re working with Covenant, our fulfillment partner, to bring domestic Dust Store fulfillment to both regions. Covenant has established warehouses and staff in the EU and UK, and VAT approval is the final step before Dust Store orders can ship from them.

We don’t have an official launch date to share just yet. We’re hoping to have Dust Store orders shipping domestically by the end of the year, but since VAT approval timelines are outside our control, we’ll confirm the launch date once approval comes through.

From the Sorcery Team

We’re grateful, as always, to the stores, organizers, and players who make Sorcery possible. Whether you’re opening Frost Mage vs. Lavamancer on November 13 or a few weeks later, we’re looking forward to seeing what you create with it. Thanks for being part of the Realm.
