Across the world, Sorcerers are already on the path. At local stores, Cornerstone events, and Grand Contests, decks are being refined, rivalries are forming, and the season-long pursuit of creativity, mastery, and wonder is underway.
This November 13-15, every path in organized play converges at the table we’ve built together: Avatar of the Realm, held at the Marriott Long Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts.

You’ll be in the room with fellow players, featured artists, and the Erik’s Curiosa team, including Erik Olofsson himself, for a weekend built around the game, the people who shape it, and the realm we all share.
Tickets go on sale Thursday, May 28 at 10am ET.

The Avatar of the Realm Constructed Championship
This is the pinnacle of Sorcery Organized Play. Bring the deck you’ve honed across every game between now and November. The winner of the Avatar of the Realm Constructed Championship earns the title of Avatar of the Realm.
But there are many Avatars in the realm, and each has its own path to glory. For each different avatar in Sorcery, the top-performing player with a winning record earns the title of Champion of the Realm and a Rainbow Foil of that Avatar. Whether you arrive with the most popular deck in the room or a strategy entirely your own, every Avatar has a chance to leave its mark on the realm.
The top three finishers will also take home an original hand-painted Atlas Thorn Tower Painting. A one-of-a-kind piece you cannot win anywhere else. Gothic print sheets will also be awarded to the weekend’s top cut. Every player who completes their rounds in the championship will earn a Foil Tower promo, randomly selected from three Tower types from across the Realm.
Additional Tower promos can be earned throughout the championship, giving you something to aim for in each match you play.
While Sorcery prizing celebrates mastery, it also celebrates creativity and wonder. Art prints and other prizes will reward those who embody these values at the Avatar of the Realm.
It's important to say that at the Avatar of the Realm, prizes celebrate more than victory alone. Alongside mastery on the battlefield, we intend to honor the creativity players bring through their decks, craftwork, and other artifacts of self-expression; and the moments of wonder that transform a tournament into a shared story worth remembering.
Beyond the Battlefield
Avatar of the Realm is a full weekend experience. Friday opens the weekend with a special experience, with mysterious details to be revealed before tickets go live on Thursday, May 28th at 10am ET. Saturday and Sunday bring you the Avatar of the Realm Constructed Championship and a Team Sealed event respectively. You may well find yourself across the table from the Erik’s Curiosa team, so be prepared!
Throughout the weekend, you’ll hear directly from the people who built the realm. Panels and live discussions with Erik Olofsson, featured artists, and special guests will offer rare, behind-the-scenes insight into Sorcery's art, design, philosophy, and what lies ahead.
Expect shoutouts, community recognition, and moments that celebrate not only mastery of the game, but also those that make the realm shine with creativity and wonder. Because the best part of a room full of Sorcery players isn’t just the competition, it’s the welcoming camaraderie each player brings to the table.
The Artist Behind the Realm
Sorcery lives at the intersection of strategic and artistic expression, and Avatar of the Realm is built to make that felt across every part of the weekend.
Featured artists Melissa Benson and Vincent Pompetti will be on hand for signings, conversations, and community events through Avatar of the Realm. Additional artists will be announced in the months ahead.

One badge gets you everything included. Your purchase covers entry tickets to the events throughout the weekend, all panels, and buffet lunches on both Saturday and Sunday. We also have a hotel block at the venue, with limited rooms available, putting you steps from every match, every panel, and every late-night lobby conversation.
Hotel rooms are limited. Badges are too. Once the Avatar of the Realm is full, it’s full.
For those who want to experience the weekend without competing, or who are bringing family along, visitor passes will be available on site.
