Adam Kašpar

Adam Kašpar (b. 1993) is a leading figure in contemporary Czech realistic painting, known for his profound ability to capture the atmosphere of untouched nature, particularly deep forests. His work explores the ancient origins and eventual demise of nature, delving into the complex life of landscapes, including both organic and inorganic materials like rocks and space objects. Kašpar’s approach is almost scientific, using tools like cameras, telescopes, and microscopes to study nature. His art, often post-human in perspective, reflects on the Anthropocene era, reimagining landscapes beyond human impact. His works are featured in prominent Czech and international collections and have been exhibited alongside masters like Claude Monet and Antonín Slavíček.
